ARP Wave Therapy

(Accelerated Recovery and Performance)

NO DRUGS, NO SURGERY, RAPID RECOVERY

WHAT DOES THE ARP DO?

The ARP specializes in preventing joint replacement surgery, athletic injuries, helping neurological disease patients increase their quality of life and helping chronic pain patients.

WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENS DURING AN ARP TREATMENT?

As the ARP current passes over the unhealthy tissue that is hypersensitive due to substance P, which causes the pain receptors to fire. The body goes into its protective pattern which we see as a muscle spasm. The spots found by the ARP triggers the problematic movement compensation. We then break free from the patient's problematic compensation pattern by having them create a new movement pattern by going through different ranges of motion which restores proper function to the muscles.

STILL CONFUSED?

It is hard to understand how the ARP loosens muscles and causes the contraction of the muscle all at the same time, but keep in mind that the ARP loosens, and the patient contracts their muscles because of the compensation pattern. After the patient goes through 5 movements, they break the compensation pattern. The patient relaxes, the muscle lengthens and then they can move freely with no pain. We then must take the patient to the next level by turning up the intensity to cause the same reaction. Breaking this reflex compensation pattern is key to healing quickly. The pain is not caused by the ARP, but by the muscle contraction of the person.

WHAT MAKES THE ARP DIFFERENT?

The ARP has two waves coupled together and that is what makes it so different from other electric devices. Most other electrical devices have an electrical current that is alternating current (AC). This device has a current that is direct current (DC). The DC current is harmonious to the body. Being that it actually allows the muscle to relax and lengthen, while all other current causes muscle contraction.

With an injury, a muscle will contract for the protection of the damaged tissue, resulting in increased pain, loss of range of movement and the formation of complex reflex protection mechanisms. Allowing the muscle to relax, is the key to allowing immediate increased range of motion for better blood flow, inhibition of pain, and reduction of the compensation pattern.

The other valuable point of this machine is the other frequency involved. The second wave is called a background wave. This wave can be thought of as biological, while the active wave in neurological. The biological wave is a double exponential microcurrent wave. Meaning that two waves are combining to cause a highly variable wave. This frequency wave can interact with all tissues of the body at the same time. All other microcurrent is frequency specific, meaning they dial in the frequency for the tissue they want to affect healing on. We can affect all tissues at the same time.

By disrupting the bonds of the non-harmonious tissue/scar tissue, we can remove the scar tissue. We are also able to make the tissue more permeable. This means increased blood flow where it was not possible before due to scar tissue and muscle contraction.

SUMMARY:

In summary, we relax the muscle, break down the scar tissue, and promote healthy blood flow to the area. This is why we get accelerated healing of tissues.
